Vegetables and salads 🥗

   Hello!!, so im writting this blog to tell you about vegetables but mostly salads!!. So in this blog ill tell you about the items/vegetables that are in a salad, compositions of a salad, the advantages of eating salads and disadvatages! So yeah thats it read this blog carefully okay! Because this blog can help you maybe in the future :3

   So, first off items that are in a salad... 

Greens (Base): Lettuce (romaine, iceberg, butterhead), Spinach, Kale, Arugula, Mixed salad greens  for me i really like broccoli in my salads but thats an option !! 

Vegetables: Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Bell peppers, Onions (red, white, or green), Carrots, Radishes, Corn. These vegetables are additions to your greens! These are optional if you dont really like them.

  And thats it for items/vegetables for a salad next are the compositions of a vegetable salad and other nutrition options such as protein, salad dressing, fruits ( for a fruit salad ).

Proteins: Grilled chicken, Hard-boiled eggs, Tuna or salmon, Chickpeas, Tofu, Cheese (feta, mozzarella, parmesan). These protein ingredients are used for more energy if you lack some energy in your days !!Greens (Base):

Fruits: Avocado, Apples, Berries (strawberries, blueberries), Oranges or mandarin slices, Dried cranberries or raisins. These fruits are for a fruit salad, but you can add them to your salads if youre craving some fruits !!

Toppings: Croutons, Nuts (almonds, walnuts), Seeds (sunflower, chia), Bacon bits. Obviously these toppings are optional if you dont like them then dont add them !!Greens (Base):

Dressings: Olive oil and vinegar, Ranch, Caesar, Balsamic vinaigrette, Honey mustard. These dressing are to give flavor to your salads! 

  And finally done with that part... and now i will be writting about the advantages and disadvantages of eating salads!

Advantage: 

1. Nutritional Value

2. Supports Weight Management

3. Boosts Digestion

4. Improves Hydration

5. Supports Heart Health

These advantages can help you grow more healthy!! And hopefully make you live longer!

Next are the disadvantages: 

1. Digestive issues

2. Heartburn

3. Kidney disease 

4. Harmful bacteria

5. Weight loss

6. Processed oils

So yeah thats all that i can write about today! I hope this blog can help educate people and make people learn about salads more ! But for people that dont know what a salad looks like here are some pictures!!


 In conclusion, Salads are really great for your health and can help you gain a healthy body and with all the nutritions in it. But there are some disadvantages to it!!
